Momee Gombe a successful dancer and actress has been in Kannywood for the past seven years.
She is not only successful as an actress, she is also beautiful and a successful dancer.
Momee Gombe married twice, but according to her, she never met her first husband as a wife. The guy was a Mopol.
They got married on her father’s insistence but she never liked him as such, and she continues to resist him, up to the time they separated he never slept with her.
After they separated, she got married again the marriage was partially successful but there was no issue involved.
Speaking to Hadiza Gabon in her famous Gabon room, Momee Gombe who is Fulani from Gombe did her primary and secondary in Gombe. After her marriage packed up, she relocated to Kano and with the assistance of Hamisu Breaker, she started dancing and acting.
“Let me let to rest speculations in Kannywood about me and Hamisu Breaker. He is my former husband’s friend. We are very close, but he is never my boyfriend, though he has been assisting me to grow in the industry, she said.
Momee as a Fulani, has a passionate respect for Hadiza Aliyu Gabon and Fati Washa.
According to her, “these two, I have a very good respect for them. Anytime I see Aliyu Gabon, I go down on my knees to greet her. Fati Washa is my excellent friend.
“Generally, I have lots of friends in Kannywood that is why Iam successful. I like dancing, travelling, photography and tourism. In Kannywood, I have very good friends male and female. With time,and after I have achieved my desire in the industry, I will look for a very good man and settle down, but the truth is I am not in a hurry to get married.
“I have lots of projects before me, I have good friends around me I want to make very good opportunity of my career.
“Let me also make this very clear, there is good money in Kannywood.
About sexual harassment, it is normal. if you want to be harassed, you will be harassed. I am very beautiful and cannot avoid the temptation of men
, Iam making good money here and I will continue to behave myself to the limit.
“I am lucky I am a Muslim and have many followers,. So, the sky will be my limit as long as I behave myself.
“The Kannywood over the years has created lots of opportunities for young ladies and boys we are doing great and the sky is our limit ”.
