After the high wire political intrigues, the Special Convention of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC came to an end at the Eagle Square, Abuja Wednesday afternoon with the former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu wINNING the contest to fly the flag of the party in the 2023 presidential election.

In his acceptance speech, the winner, flanked by his wife, Oluremi expressed gratitude to President Buhari for being humble and gracious to put the event together. He also thanked Vice president Osinbajo for being ba supportive Vice president.
He noted that despite the fact that many newspapers are ready to write the obituary of the APC, but the party came out as a cat with nine lives.
