The 30th Anniversary Fidau for late Abubakar Adebisi Adebiyi, father of Alh. Yinka Adebiyi, was held in Offa today.
The solemn but colourful event was officiated by prominent clerics of Zumuratul faith in Offa and witnessed by many dignitaries.
At the prayer session were the current patriarch of the family, Pa Rasak Adebiyi, the Kure of Offa , Chief Kayode Adebiyi; the Olukotun of Ikotun, HRM Oba Adio Amuda Ajadi ; iconic labour leader and Basorun of Offa , Alhaji, Dr. , Chief Najeem Yasin; former Commissioner for Information in Kwara State and Oloriewe if Oro Kingdom, Chief Raheem Adedoyin; prominent Lawyers, Mr. Rabana Lawal, SAN and Mr. Wahab Shitu, SAN; the Aremo of Offa, Chief Sola Olagunju; Aare Bobaselu of Offa, Chief Kunle Jeigbe; Taiyese of Offa, Dr. Lanre Abdul Folorunso; Dr. Lai Bello, CEO, Sunbo Hospital, Miran, Lagos and former Majority Leader, Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Hassan Oyeleke.
Also in attendance were a member of Kwara State House of Assembly from Offa, Hon. David Ogunniyi Oluwaseun ( a ka Adato); former commissioner in Kwara State and Akinrogun of Offa, Barr, Chief Segun Olawoyin, former General Manager of Radio Kwara, Alhaji Adebowale Adedeji; APC Chairmanship candidate for Offa Local Government in the forthcoming local government elections in Kwara State , Alhaji Olatunji Sulaiman ( a ka Omituntun) ; Oyun Local Government APC Youth Leader, Hon. ajibade John Kolawole (a ka Ara) and Leader of Obinrin Meto Worldwide, Hajia Mutiat Taiye Omotosho.
