Yesterday, a mentee and daughter, Motunrayo Rukayat Shittu, the 26 year old Mass Communication graduate who won her election as a member of the Kwara State House of Assembly, KWHA, yesterday paid a post- victory visit to her mentor, Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim in Ilorin, the State capital.
Shittu is the youngest legislator-elect in the just concluded States Assembly election who was voted by the good people of Owode-Onire constituency, Asa local government, Kwara State.
A graduate of Mass Communication, she was Senate President of the Congress of National Open University Students of Nigeria (2020/2021 Session).
She participated in the tech training, CyberNaija with Hashim in year 2021 sponsored by the Gbenga Hashim Foundation.
Before winning her Primary Election on the platform of the APC, she worked at Just Event online Media platform.
At 26, she is the youngest elected legislator in the current election cycle and a beneficiary of Kwara State policy of Youth and Women inclusion promoted by the progressive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrhaman Abdulrazaq.
