The Institute of Governance and Leadership Training in Africa, IGLSA, Abuja has congratulated the Winner of the 2023 Presidential Elections in Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Institute in a press statement signed by its Media and Publicity Advisor, Wale Abydeen describes the general elections as peaceful and credible especially when compared to the previous elections in the country.,
According to the Institute, “the outcome of the 2023 Presidential Elections reflect the yearnings of majority of Nigerians” It added that “giving the rigour and strategic publicity the APC Presidential Candidate injected into his campaign especially in comparison to other Political Parties, one can not doubt his victory”
IGLSA urges the Federal Government, electoral umpire and security agencies to beam searchlight into the alleged manipulation of the elections, in particular the role of Ad-hoc Staff including members of the NYSC in the alleged electoral scandals.
The institute, while announcing special grants to journalists and whistle blowers who could unravel any hidden facts associated with the 2023 elections, calls for citizens support and cooperation with all organizations involved in the next phase of the 2023 General Election.
Wale Abydeen affirms that as a foremost research institute in Nigeria, IGLSA will continue to support the country in its quest for rapid development, good governance and a more inclusive leadership recruitment process. He added that the institute will continue to collaborate with other progressive organizations to enhance the participation of women and youth in both the leadership and management of the country. It will continue to undertake more research, trainings, and policy development towards the betterment of Nigeria and Africa at large.
