Today the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) has charged the reigning world champion, Nigeria’s Oluwatobi Amusan with an alleged rule violation for having 3 missed tests in 12 months,” she said in a post on Instagram.
The reigning world champion and 100m hurdles world record holder Tobi Amusan of Nigeria announced via her Instagram account that she’s been charged by the Athletics Integrity Unit with an anti-doping rule violation for missing 3 tests in 12 months.
She however said she planned to fight the charge and hope to be on the start line of the World Championships in Budapest in a month.
Tobi Amusan just won her last two races at the Silesia Diamond League on July 16 (12.34) and the Gyulai Istvan Memorial on July 18 (12.35).
