The traditional ruler of Adamawa kingdom, Hama Bachama, Homun Daniel Shaga Ismaila has on Saturday turbaned Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as the new Gyana (defender) Bachama.
At the event held in Lamurde, Homun Daniel Shaga Ismaila urged the Governor to use the title to promote peace in the land.
Governor Umaru Fintiri in his vote of thanks, appreciated the royal father for giving him the title.
He promised to use the title to the benefits of Bachama people and promote peace and good governance in the state.
The event was attended by Deputy Governor Chief Crowther Seth and some Government officials
