Kwara Agenda for Asiwaju (KWAGA), a foremost political movement working for the realization of the presidential ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday visited the Senator representing Kwara North senatorial district at his residence in ilorin.
After introduction of KWAGA and members of the delegation, the Kwara State Cordinator, Hon. Yinka Yusuf Erubu hinted on plans on campaign mobilisation and publicity for the Senator, the Kwara state governor and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu among other APC candidates in major towns of kwara North .
Hon. Alhassan. S. Woru, the Board chairman, Kwara State Water Corporation (KWWC) and the Kwara North KWAGA Coordinator expressed confidence that his local government area, Baruten among four others will be won convincingly in the forthcoming 2023 general election by the APC.
The Group’s State secretary, Mr Olasunkanmi Iwaloye added that the problem of intraparty wrangling must be resolved by the Governor,Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq with other stakeholders before the forthcoming general election.
The Group Cordinator for Patigi LGA, Mr Abdulquadir Abdulquadir told the senator that he has always being impressed with his modest achievements and has been his fan despite the fact they have never met.
The state publicity secretary, Comrade Lukman Afolabi also stressed that the group had been working for Asiwaju since 2021 before he declared his intention to run for president, adding that then as the group already have coordinators in the sixteen Local Government Areas of Kwara State.
In his response,Senator Sulaiman Sadiq Umar said the APC presidential flagbearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is an easy sell as he has in the last 20years impacted positively in people’s lives and he also have influence on almost every important persons in Nigeria.
He maintained that the APC flag bearer is blessed with enormous intellect coupled with being bold and courageous.
“He has also been very generous with his wealth.He will be a great boost to our party success despite the challenges of insecurity which has affected our economy.He has a track record of excellence in Lagos.He is capable of solving the nation’s current challenges,” he said.
