The godly heart of the Adamawa state First Lady, Hajia Lami Ahmadu Fintiri was again exhibited yesterday along Gombe/ Yola express road as she sacrificed her comfort and security to rescue victims of ghastly motor accident.
The accident involved two commercial transport vehicles, a Golf station wagon and a Toyota starlet car in Farai along Numan road. The accident is said to have occurred as a result of the excavated part of the road and left unattended to by the men of FERMA.
The wife of Adamawa state Governor who was returning from Lamurde where she attended the campaign of her husband had a stop over at the scene of the accident.
The incidence forced tears out of the First Lady as she could not hold her emotions but stopped her convoy to save the lives of the victims who were then lying down in a pool of blood.
Mrs Fintiri ordered her aides and released her ambulance to convey the victims to the nearest hospital.
She also upsets their medical bills.
An eye witness, Abawu Jackson Ijafiya, spokesman of Adamawa State Network of Community Development Association told our correspondent that Mrs Fintiri’s intervention was very timely as God used her to save the lives of the victims. He thanks the the First Lady for her motherly intervention and prayed God to reward her and her family with abundant grace.
