Surgeon Rear Admiral Azeez Bayo Afolayan (Rtd), the Asiwaju of Oro Kingdom, has called upon the Muslim community in Oro, Kwara State, and Nigeria, to unite in prayer for the nation’s prosperity during the Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations.
In a statement released on Sunday, the respected Consultant Paediatrician congratulated the Ummah on the successful completion of Ramadan.
He emphasized the importance of sustaining the virtues cultivated during the holy month, particularly unity and acts of charity towards the less privileged.
Asiwaju Afolayan also urged Muslims in Oro Kingdom to offer unwavering support and prayers for His Royal Majesty, Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye Titiloye Olufayo II, the Oloro of Oro Kingdom, highlighting the Monarch’s promising initiatives aimed at elevating the Kingdom’s global standing.
“As we celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, may Allah accept our devotion and grant us abundant blessings,” he concluded.
