CAC AGBALA ITURA ELEVATED TO ZONE, PASTOR TAIWO INDUCTED AS ZONAL SUPERINTENDENT

According to him, Sango Ota zone, comprising four viable Districts of : Sango Ota, Iyana Iyesi, Owode and Ijoko was approved in December 2022.

After years of planting the Church, the Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, Agbala Itura, Sango was yesterday, Sunday 18 August 2024, formally elevated to the Zonal Headquarters of the Church in Sango Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria.

The Assembly was established, according to a citation read by the Zonal Secretary, Pastor Joseph Bamisaye, in February 1996 after a crusade organized “through the operations of the Evangelical Operations of the Christ International Evangelical Ministry anchored by the Church Planter and global Evangelist, Dr. Samuel Kayode Abiara.

According to him, Sango Ota zone, comprising four viable Districts of : Sango Ota, Iyana Iyesi, Owode and Ijoko was approved in December 2022.

After the approval from the Church authority, “the visionary Superintendent started working assiduously to ensure that the zone stand out among other zones within the Akilling region of the CAC.

In the autobiography read by one of the Guest Ministers, he disclosed that Pastor Taiwo was born to the family of the Late L.A and Deaconess E.A Taiwo of Osi Quarters, Ona Otun, Ilaro in Yewa South Local Government of Ogun State on the 25th of September, 1957.

He started his primary education at NUD Primary School, Ilaro in 1964 and completed the Primary education in Sabon Gari, in the then North Central State before proceeding to Emmanuel Commercial High School; Oyo State College of Arts and Science, Ile-Ife before he obtained his degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos, Akoka-Lagos in 1986.

Thereafter, he proceeded to Faith Bible College, Sango Ota in 1992 and finished his Bachelor in Theology in 1995.

His working experience has taken him through Muslim College, Ijebu Ode as a Class Teacher; NYSC at FCDA, Abuja as an Internal Auditor; Ogun State Audit department and as Assistant Manager and Head of Mortgage Department at Thodel Savings and Loans, Ikeja in 1998.

For his ecclesiastical journey, Pastor Taiwo received God’s call in 1983 and was ordained as Pastor by the All Faith Chapel Gospel Mission International Inc in 1995 and CAC Worldwide in April 1999.
He was appointed the Assembly Pastor of CAC Agbala Itura, Abeokuta in the year 2000 and became the District Pastor of Abeokuta District in 2004 before he was transferred to Sango Ota District in November 2004.
The Authority of CAC World wide later promoted him to the rank of District Superintendent in July 2007, before his current elevation to the Zonal Superintendent level.

He is married to former Miss E.B Ayinde in 1991 and the marriage is blessed with four wonderful children.

In his sermon at the occasion, Pastor E.A Olusoko, the Regional Superintendent, Akilling Region quoting from the Gospel of Luke 18, admonished the congregation to remain persistent and focussed in their work and walk with God and Jesus.

He explained that as a Christian and a follower of Christ, you need to remain focused and persistent in your prayer and request to God for you to be answered.

As part of the ceremony, Zonal council presented a gift to the Pastor Taiwo.

In his vote of thanks, the brand new Zonal Superintendent thanked the Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, CAC for find him worthy of the new post and position.

He also promised to remain loyal and dedicated to the service of God and the Church.

He also thanked his other half, Mrs Taiwo who he described as his “worthy rib, the sugar in his tea and the cockroach on his bed.”
