Dr. Adewumi does not know the organizers of the Summit and not only is he not chairing any such summit, he will, infact, not attend.

For the avoidance of doubt, Dr. Adewumi is the Convener of the Kwara South Development Initiative ( KSDI) which is a registered Special Purpose Vehicle for the socio-economic development of Kwara South.

KSDI has organized three summits – two in Oko and one recently in Abuja .
The Governor of Kwara State , HE AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON who supports the initiatives of KSDI was represented at the first summit in Oko two years ago by the Deputy Governor , HE Kayode Alabi. The Kwara Governor also personally delivered a Goodwill message virtually at the the third summit in Abuja .

Finally , again, for the record, Dr. Adewumi was not consulted nor informed before and after he was listed in the invitation card as Chairman of the proposed Summit in Ajassepo.

Further summits by KSDI are planned as the organization continues to promote it’s development agenda in Kwara South but the summit in circulation has norhing to do with KSDI and Dr. JBO Adewumi.
