BRAVO, KWARA ALGON!
I congratulate the newly elected leadership of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria ( ALGON).
I’m impressed not only by the high personal quality of the officers elected but more expressively by the spirit of equity and fairness evident in the choices made.
It is salutary that the new ALGON Chairman comes from Kwara North that had been bypassed in the past; it is more heartwarming that the key positions had been shared evenly among the three senatorial districts and with all the 6 federal constituencies taken care of. You have done our party, the All Progressives Congress ( APC) proud; you have done Kwara State proud.
ALGON action affirms the equity, fairness and justice that have become the Hallmark of the current leadership in Kwara State and this should signpost equitable distribution of elective and appointive positions across the board in 2027.
Congratulations again to the leadership and entire members of ALGON for your welcome action.
