The Governor Advisory Council ( GAC), Kwara State has congratulated Senator Oyelola Ashiru on his new appointment as the new Deputy Leader of the Senate.
In its congratulatory letter to the Senator, jointly signed by the Chairman, Lawyer Kunle Sulyman and his Deputy, Amb. Nurudeen Mohammed, GAC expressed joy that Ashiru’s new elevated position has put Kwara in yet another positive limelight.
” When you were appointed as Senate Deputy Chief Whip in June, we said then that, given your antecedents, we expected a sterling performance from you in that office. We are happy that you proved us right, you proved Kwara right.
” We take pride that as a GAC member , you have continued to demonstrate your capacity for leadership at higher levels”
