By Suleyman Dunoma Abuja,
Aisha Aliyu Tsamiya is 30 years old, very decent and beautiful. In fact, most actors and actresses in Kannywood can testify that Aisha Aliyu Tsamiya is one actress that is very upright and down to earth in all her dealings.
She is so passionate about her religion, and always in search of Islamic knowledge by attending Islamic schools to seek for further knowledge whenever she is not on location.
Since the break out of COVID-19 virus, Aisha Aliyu Tsamiya has diversify her businesses by mostly concentrating on advertisements for companies and beverages, like textile companies, beverages like Cherry, Boska and host of others.
Recently, she received large consignment of assorted goods mostly soft wears from China, Dubai and Egypt and opened a vast business outfit at Khairat Plaza opposite NYSC Secretariat Kano on Gwarzo Road close to Bayero University permanent site Kano.
According to recent media reports, Aisha is the fourth richest actress in Kannywood.
Aisha Aliyu Tsamiya has just open a multi-million naira shopping palace at Khairat Plaza, Gwarzo Road, Kano. She is also into commercials and Social Media activities, (anytime you tell her that she is a multi-millionaire, she will tell you kana yima rogo kallon kitse).
Recently, our correspondent ran into her in Kano, and had brief interview with her before her recent marriage.
Question: Since the Covid 19 pandemic, you have been scarce, what are you into of recent?
Aisha: Of recent, nothing much is happening in the industry, even though some producers have introduced new programs, which they run in series, like Izzar so, Gidan Badamasi, Kwana Casain, Labari Na, and what have you. All these are aimed at keeping our members busy before the Corona issue will finally fade away, but as for me, I have decided to be into modelling, advertising products for textile owners, food beverages, and in some cases, boutiques and saloons, with most of their products bearing my name Aisha Aliyu Tsamiya.
People have been calling me to ask whether the new business outfit belongs to me, but the truth is, people use my beauty and acceptance in Kannywood to open businesses bearing my name, but they are not actually mine, even though my goods have just arrived from several foreign countries and I have now opened my own shop in Kano on Gwarzo Road Opposite NYSC Secretariat, so my fans will see less of me henceforth in films.
Question: There are several reports in the media that you now spend most of your time in gospel religious music, what actually is the true story?
Aisha: Well, it is true but if you say gospel, some will think the other way especially because it is synonymous with Christians, I am very deep into religious activities, not singing per say, but I tried to promote, religious activities through songs and musical interlude, I feel that it will be shameful for a Muslim to end up in hell fire, that is why, my yes is always yes and my no is always no.
My colleagues in Kannywood can testify: I don’t lie, I don’t make fake promises, and I hardly engage myself in bad social vices. I am as clean as the cotton, as pure as bottle water, and I can tell you that daily, I receive proposals, especially for marriage, from many suitors on daily basis. Go to my Aisha Aliyu Tsamiya page on facebook or Instagram and you will see my number of followers, my believe is that I don’t have to deceive you or waste your time, If I know that you don’t fit my bill, I am as transparent as possible, in fact, I don’t keep even female friends, my friend is my heart, I follow what my heart dictates to me.
Question: Since you have thousands of people that wants your hand in marriage, are you going to set up a committee and give them guidelines lines to select who will be your future husband?
Aisha: It will not go to that level because very soon, the public will receive invitation for my wedding, I have chosen who will be my partner for life. once we start relating with you, before a week or two, I will know where you are heading to, if you are for marriage, I will know, if you are for fun, I will know, if you are my class, I will know, if you are not, I will know, let me tell you a common proverb in Hausa, “Mutane wani lokaci suna ma rogo kallon kitse” but honestly I am not complaining, I am quit okay financially.
