The Madakin Zazzau, Alhaji Muhammadu Munnir Ja’afaru, has resigned his appointment as the District Head of Basawa, over disagreement with the Emir.
It was reported that his resignation was dated July 29th 2023
Meanwhile, the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR, has approved the appointment of the District Head of Zangon Aya, Architect Haruna Abubakar Bamalli, District Head of Zangon Aya as the substantive District Head of Basawa.
Also appointed is the Wamban Doko, Alhaji Ibrahim Sani Zubairu, as the new District Head of Rigacikun while the incumbent District Head of Rigacikun, Bajimin Kidun Zazzau, Alhaji Abdulrashid Sani, has been moved to Zangon Aya as the new District.
All the appointment and movements of the District Heads are with immediate effect according to a statement signed by Abdullahi Aliyu Kwarbai, the Media and Publicity Officer of Zazzau Emirate Council takes immediate effects.
Since Munnir Ja’afaru lost the Emirship race to the present Emir, he has been bitter, until he was appointed Madaki of Zazzau which he now resigned.
