The Kwara Agenda for Asiwaju (KWAGA), a foremost support group for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential bid has lauded delegates at the just concluded primaries of the All Progressives Congress with a call to Nigerians to rally round the APC flagbearer for a successful outing come 2023 general elections

In a statement signed by the State Coordinator of the group, Hon. Yinka Yusuf Erubu on Thursday, the group assured that if voted into power, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will right the many wrongs in the country.

Erubu who applauded other aspirants who took part in the keenly-contested primary described them as heroes of democracy.

He said, “delegates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from all states of the federation exercised their democratic rights at the special convention and their decision was expressed in very unambiguous and unmistaken terms.

For this we commend them while noting that Asiwaju’s doggedness and resilience made this victory well deserved.
“We also commend other presidential aspirants especially those who stepped down for Asiwaju Tinubu. We assure them that when the story of this country is written they will occupy a special place for recognizing and acknowledging Tinubu’s sagacity and ability to take this country to the promise land.

“We therefore assure Nigerians that if voted into office come 2023, Tinubu will not only heal many wounds but the country will witness many positive transformations needed for its survival.

“It is pertinent to know that at this juncture in our history as a people we need the experience and influence of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to paddle the ship of our country and lead us to the promise land.”

Erubu also thanked Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the members of the party in the state under the chairmanship of Prince Sunday Fagbemi, and the entire delegates for casting their votes for Asiwaju Tinubu.

At the Special Convention last Wednesday, Tinubu polled 1,271 votes to defeat 13 others in the race. His closest opponent was the former minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, who scored 316 votes followed by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who polled 235 votes.
