Kwara State literally moved to Abuja last Saturday as Dignitories from the State of Harmony stormed the Federal Capital City to witness the wedding ceremony of Barrister Timilehin Aderonke and Dr. Oladayo Oluwaseun Olayonu.
Timilehin is the daughter of Kwara’s celebrated Education Czar and philanthropist, Engr. Dr. Johnson Bamidele Adewumi. The glamorous event took place at B.M.O.Events Arena, Abuja.
Adewumi, Asiwaju of Oko Irese, Kwara State , a renowned engineer and a prominent national figure, is also the Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete and Chancellor/Founder, Thomas Adewumi University, Oko Irese, Kwara State.
Leading Kwara’s Celebrity team was the Governor, HE AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON who was represented by the Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Hon. Danladi.

The Church service was held at ECWA Central Area, Abuja while the traditional marriage took place earlier on April 10 at Nuhu Musa Hall, Community Staff School, Asokoro, Abuja
