iRise Model School, one of the top nursery and primary school in Igando, Alimosho, has once again demonstrated why it stands as a beacon of excellence in early childhood education.
The just-concluded term, themed ‘Arts and Crafts’, was a display of innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, and community engagement.
Pupils proudly displayed an array of handmade crafts including soap making, tie-dye, bead design, throw pillow creation, and expressive painting. The term was concluded in an exciting bazaar and health walk along Balogun-Ketiku Street, which brought together staff, parents, and children in a show of unity, innovation, and wellness. Landlords of Balogun-Ketiku street and other community leaders commended the pupils for their remarkable leadership and entrepreneurial spirit, even making generous donations to support the bazaar sales.
In addition to enhancing academic excellence, iRise Model School actively promotes holistic child development through health-conscious programs and a robust extracurricular curriculum that includes music, swimming, coding, diction, book club, and dance club.
A major highlight of the term was the iRise Sports Fiesta, a well-attended event powered by the school’s Board of Advisors under the visionary leadership of Mr. Anokwuru and Mrs. Ogala.
Speaking on the success of the term, Basirat Ajisefini, the Deputy School Administrator, remarked;
