This measure aims to disrupt the operational bases of criminal elements.

3. Severe Penalties for Accomplices:
Individuals who aid or abet kidnappers will also face the death penalty, with their assets confiscated and properties demolished. This provision seeks to dismantle networks supporting kidnapping activities.

By signing the Kidnapping Prohibition (Amendment) Law 2025, H.E. Sen. Monday Okpebholo has demonstrated bold, decisive and people-focused leadership, ensuring that criminals face the full weight of the law.

This action reflects his Practical Governance approach—where policies are not just made, but enforced to deliver real impact. With strong political will and a clear vision, his administration is setting a new standard for leadership that prioritizes security, stability, and prosperity for all.
