Speaking on behalf of the Matori FCA members, Mr. Ajayi stated: “This support could not have come at a better time. We are extremely grateful to the Federal Government for prioritizing agriculture and recognizing the vital role farmers play in the nation’s development. The efforts of the Lagos State Governor and the Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Systems are laudable, and we appreciate their dedication to ensuring that farming communities across the state, including those in Mushin and other parts of Lagos, have access to the tools they need to thrive.”

Mr. Ajayi also commended Mr. Ade Obafemi for his leadership and unwavering commitment to the success of the program. “Mr. Ade Obafemi’s leadership and contribution to the smooth execution of this initiative have been instrumental in ensuring its success. We applaud his tireless efforts and express our sincere appreciation for his hard work in ensuring that the program reached the grassroots level,” he added.

The distribution of agricultural inputs and productive assets is expected to significantly increase the productivity of farmers, improve food security, and provide sustainable livelihoods for the beneficiaries.
