President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, _GCFR_ and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, _CON_ have done it again: they have brought smiles to the faces of Kwarans with yet another high-profile federal appointment to a worthy Kwaran.
That the latest appointment of Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi ( a ka ENACT) as a board member of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund ( TETFUND) has elicited spontaneous celebration in the state is not surprising.
Engr. Adeyemi brings to his new national job, an exciting record of service as a Nigerian in Diaspora who distinctly connects with the Kwarans at home through his numerous philanthropic interventions.
Through his ENACT innovation hub, many Kwara South Youth have benefitted from JAMB, UTME preparatory training.
Through the Igbomina Mobile Clinic which he co-founded, many Kwarans in rural communities in Kwara South have had access to free Medicare
For someone who has not held political office in Nigeria and has no access to the spoils of office, his generous disposition is a blessing to the political class as his folksy ways also endear him to the grassroot, especially in Kwara South.
Adeyemi is a policy wonk whose tested capacity will reflect in his new national assignment .
Thank you, Mr. President, Thank you, Governor AbdulRazaq for this well-timed appointment to an authentic Kwaran.
Congratulations, ENACT.
